Meet The Eye Doctors At Riz Eye Care
Dr. Farah Nasser grew up in Nairobi Kenya and attended college at University of Miami . . . . go Hurricanes! While at U of M, Dr. Nasser received her BS in Biology. Her strong interest in health and science combined with her desire to help others led to a career in optometry.
Dr. Nasser completed her Doctorate of Optometry at The New England College Of Optometry. She was at ranked at of top of her class graduating with cum laude honors.
Her optometric training consists of experiences in primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics and ocular disease management. Dr. Nasser completed clinical rotations at The Omni Eye Center in Atlanta Georgia,The East Boston Eye Clinic in Boston, and Vetrans Clinic Bedford.
Dr. Nasser is a member of the American Optometric Association.
In her spare time Dr. Nasser enjoys spending time with her husband, friends & family, working out, and traveling to different areas of the world.
Rizwan Jaffer, O.D. is a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. Dr. Jaffer was born in Africa, but was raised in Boston, MA. He attended Union College and later received his doctorate of optometry and the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Jaffer graduated in 2006 and has been practicing since.
Dr. Jaffer falls in a line of doctors in his family, with a sister who’s in dentistry and a brother, who’s practicing as a board certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Jaffer and Nasser are happily growing their family. They have a young daughter and son. Dr. Jaffer truly enjoys patient care, and frequently visits local nursing homes to provide eye exams and ocular health services to those who are unable to easily visit the office.
Outside of optometric practice, Dr. Jaffer is a health and fitness enthusiast, and he enjoys devoting free time to activities with his family.
